On Navigating the Awful and Finding Inner Clarity on How to Engage with our Tech
Exploring our interface with technology
This article popped up on my feed last week.
Read or listen to the Wall Street Journal article here. Take deep breaths.
This is not a video about Instagram, big tech, algorithms, control or data privacy.
Despite not being a user of the app, I had a volume of dense thoughts, emotions and a shadowy images of our robotic-future. So, I decided to explore!
In this video, I share my practice of reading this article fully, in a slow and meditative state, so I could find my truth as I ingested what was difficult. This enabled some alignment and clarity of purpose and tech use in my life collaboratively, with inner truth, full emotion and things in our world.
Does our technology serve us, or do we serve the tech?
What self-expression and social belonging are for us, online and in person?
How we chose apps or technology solutions to interact with?
What information we share online and how?
How we consume information online?
As I’m not connected to Tech, the way it is today…AI & ChatGpt n such, can’t comment on it. But yes, I do see what consequences it could have on d emerging generation, who already depend so much on Google searches for all their study n research materials! Having said that, for some, this all must be God-sent. Thrilling, in fact, becoz now they don’t hve to “think”. AI will do it for them!
