What Serves Me Also Serves The World
Part III - New Moon in Aquarius and a New Line of Self-Inquiry on the Path to Solution Consciousness
We’re continuing the journey with our friend and hero Hercules as we tease out some themes and lessons from his 11th labour—the Cleaning of the Augean Stables.
In this video, the path to solution consciousness is paved by perspective, learning and self-inquiry. Perspective can be historic or expanded context with a situation. Learning is a constant and requires us to view “problems” as opportunities. And finally, self-inquiry which is the path of coming into a state of meditation, peace or acceptance and asking our inner wisdom questions.
True self-inquiry is not about answers that come from the mind, the ego or the personality. And so when we ask ourselves new types of questions, we must first bring ourselves into a state that is receptive of answers that come from within, that are new, that are different.
With that in mind, todays video aligns with the New Moon in Aquarius and pulls on some of the less obvious themes of the story of Hercules. It involves serving something larger than ourselves, and thinking about solutions from that perspective.
Steps to help us consume content consciously…
Take a few moments before moving onto the next thing on your feed.
Close your eyes and take three deep breaths.
Feel your heart, you gut, and your body.
Smile at yourself.

U transported me to (probably) 65 years back era, when I read Hercules stories 😇. He certainly thought ‘out of the box’ (a commonly used Management jargon)to come to a solution 👍. Diversion of 2 rivers to clean the stables housing 3,000 oxens was an ‘impossible’ looking task, unfathomable under the normal circumstances 🌹. Thanks Aarti; Even at 75, I have found abundant substance in your video and will try to consciously implement the thought process 💗
