Exercising the Emotional Body
Swimming in the energies of the Cancer New Moon
This post is a colourful meander on our journey through The Divine Within series.
Since, as a collective, we are deeply programmed, trained and encouraged by what we can physically see and interact with, our emotions and indeed our emotional body often get ignored. This shows up in many forms, in many personality types and in many different ways both within us and in our world.
In this video, I share some steps to exercise the emotional body like we do with our physical one. This exercise doesn’t take place at the gym, but rather through safe and loving consciousness and the desire to learn and strengthen.
When we build the emotional musculature, we can trust our inner capacity to allow for the fullness of our Human-Divine experience, regardless of what the world may through at us.
Lots of people tell me that they are completely overwhelmed and exhausted by their emotions or by life’s uncertainties. I believe this is because we don’t learn the proper ways and steps to crawl-walk-run with our emotions. We exert vast amounts of our life-force trying to control, mask or deny what lives in our emotional body. No wonder we are exhausted and feel disconnected.
With healthy physical and emotional bodies, we have far greater access to our inner wisdom and Mastery and have the energy and enthusiasm to make our dreams and visions a reality.
This is a longer video, because I have come to love my emotional ranges and thoroughly enjoy talking about them; as well, while parts of this process can be heavy and dark, the fruit this labour bears is immensely sweet.
It is my hope that if you are struggling with your emotional body, this video provides what you require on your journey to Wholeness.
In this video I have taken my usual inspiration from the astrological themes around the date of July 17th, 2023 which is when the New Moon in Cancer falls (as well as supportive energies from the North Node in Aries and the upcoming Venus retrograde in Leo for those who are interested). This is not an astrology or prediction video.
Love this video Aarti. As you know being a cancerian myself and a water sign I could relate to this because of the varying degrees of emotions that you have described. It has taken me years and years to understand how to deal with my emotions how to, like you say, how to handle it how to accept it and then how to respond to it. I love the analogy of going into water with heavy armour. It’s just very clearly explained what and how we do things wrong then how to put it right so loved it I love you so much❤️
