Last week, I published a video post called The Divine Within - What It Can Mean & What To Do Next where I introduce a few concepts.
Over the next few weeks, I thought it would be fun to dive into some of said concepts with the aim to pull at it - like a kite-string floating in the air - understand and embody it by making it authentically ours.

Do you live your life or parts of your day in auto-pilot?
Do you often complete whole tasks with no memory or recollection of having done so, because you were thinking about something else?
Do you feel disconnected from yourself, your surroundings, your home, your city, your people and you’re not sure why?
In this video, I explore the concept of living life (or parts of it) on auto-pilot. It really is a big obstruction on our path to being Whole and Present within the Self. As our mind wanders off into the past or future, our physical self is left abandoned in the moment and this causes us more suffering and disconnection than we imagine.
So what is about planning ahead that seduces our mind away from our present moment? What happens when we are jolted back? Once we disengage our auto-pilot, how do we handle what is happening, especially if we don’t like it?
As someone who actually enjoys planning ahead, this was a big moment of checking in with myself to see if my plans actually served my whole being, or were they just masking my fears and insecurities.
Catching ourselves when we are on auto-pilot and learning how to disengage it (safely) is a masterful art and skill.
We will catch ourselves a thousand times and not catch ourselves a thousand times more, but each time, we get to learn ourselves better and more intimately and perhaps have to more love and allowance for ourselves and our world. And Isn’t that just divine!
